Documents are now done exclusively electronically. At least a month prior to sailing, guests will be given directions on how to check in online and how to download and print documents. Guests will be responsible for printing their own documents.
Valid U. S. passport is required. The passport should be valid for at least six months after your return. Citizens of countries other than the U.S. should check with their embassy for proper documentation. We also suggest that you have a second form of ID, such as a driver’s license since you might be asked to present two forms of ID in some situations.
ARE GUESTS REQUIRED TO HAVE A VISA TO ENTER CUBA?
Yes, every guest who plans to go ashore in Cuba must have a tourist visa. You may also hear this referred to as a visitor card or entry card. Royal Caribbean can facilitate this at a cost of $75 per person, which will be automatically added to your onboard account on Day 1 of the cruise. At embarkation, you will receive your visa and you will be responsible for presenting it to Cuban authorities upon arrival in Cuba. Should you lose your visa, a new visa can be purchased onboard at an additional cost of $75. If you intend to remain onboard the ship while in Cuba, no visa is required.
A NOTE ON TRAVELING TO CUBA
Guests traveling to Cuba must meet the requirements of one of the 12 categories of permitted travel authorized by the U.S. government. All Royal Caribbean tours meet these requirements. A Travel Certification document must be filled out before sailing. Each traveler must bring two printed, completed copies to the port for the embarkation process. Every guest is also required to have a passport book valid for at least 6 months after the sail date (NO passport cards or other forms of I.D. will be accepted). This includes minors and those who do not plan to disembark the ship in Cuba.
Airline prices vary with city of departure. Please be sure that you arrive at the pier at least 2-1/2 hours before scheduled departure (we highly recommend arriving earlier) and that your return flight leaves after noon.
The Kennedys will be sailing on this cruise and providing entertainment for participants according to his agreement with Fan Club Cruises. Only serious illness, injury or death would prevent them from sailing. In the unlikely event that they are not able to sail, every effort will be made to provide replacement entertainer(s). In the event that replacement entertainment cannot be provided, all passengers will receive a refund of the fee designated for the performers. Normal cruise line cancellation penalties will apply to passenger cancellations as indicated in the cancellation policy on this website.
Cruise lines have rules regarding accepting passengers in the later stages of pregnancy. Please check if you will be six months or later in a pregnancy. Some cruise lines do not allow a guest under age 21 in a stateroom (cabin) unless accompanied by an adult age 25 or older except for married couples or children traveling with parents in adjoining cabin.
Final payment is due August 21, 2019
We highly recommend you not purchase non-refundable airline tickets until after the final payment due dates.
